Captain Tyler
Captain Tyler Hatfield is the owner of UpScale Anglers and understands the thrill of "getting on the fish". He
is a USCG licensed captain and a seasoned guide
who began his career in his home state of Iowa as
a hunting guide before moving to our coastal
paradise in 2018.

Captain Tyler's passion for hunting and fishing
dates back to his earliest memories, and owning
his own fishing charter has always been a dream.
Even on his days off you will find him scouting the
water for the best spots to catch gamefish like,
Redfish, Black Drum, Sheepshead, Speckled Trout
and Shark.​
​
Captain Tyler's favorite catch was a 6-foot Blacktip Shark that he caught
in the summer of 2022, that jumped
out of the water multiple times.​​ As a passionate and experienced guide, Captain Tyler enjoys sharing his love for great fishing with his customers.​

Captain Doug joined the crew at UpScale Anglers in May 2025, and we are thrilled to have him on our team full-time!
He is a USCG licensed captain with extensive experience and lots of
knowledge to share.

Captain Doug loves what he does and it really shows! He enjoys sharing his knowledge and tricks he has picked up over the years with anglers of all levels. taking the beginning anglers out on the water teaching them all the tricks of the trade. He also enjoys taking the more seasoned anglers out and getting them hooked up on a fight like they haven’t experienced before. Captain Doug is all about making sure his customers have fun, make lasting memories, and also earn themselves some bragging rights!​
